Now I’ve loved Heidi Seeker since I was a young converse wearing whippersnapper. I would browse their site, bookmarking things when it got to closer Christmas time hoping my mum would get the hint and I’d find some funky necklaces in my stocking. I never did, and eventually forgot all about it. That is until now, I don’t even know why I remembered the site, but I’m so glad I did.
When I laid eyes on this Camera Necklace, I knew I had to have it. I am a total sucker for anthropomorphism, shove a smiley face on any every day, inanimate object and I am instantly in love, the fact that I’m into photography just sealed the deal and soon as I got a bit of money, I was typing in my delivery address.
Even though the website states that it can take up to 14 days to be shipped, after a few days of not hearing anything, and me being the impatient little madam I am, tweeted them asking if they knew anything, they got back to me within half an hour letting me know my item will be shipped the next day along with a “Cheeky surprise”.
Oh gosh the excitement.
So when my parcel arrived after the weekend I was ecstatic, along with the camera necklace I ordered they also sent me a Happy Hearts Necklace which I absolutely LOVE. They came in the cutest cellophane packaging, I wish I took a picture but in my excitement completely forgot. Both are made of some sort of felted material with thin metal chains. I was really pleased with the quality of the products, considering the necklace was only £7 it seems pretty sturdy and will definitely not be falling to bits anytime soon.
They also do some lovely personalised things which would make great presents for people with unusual names like myself. It would always upset me as a child when the Jessicas and Sophies of my class would come in with their personalised rulers or pens and I could never find anything with “Liberty” written on it. (I’m now 18 years old and yes, this still gets to me!)
