Workwear Wednesday

So I’ve finally written an outfit post for the first time in what seems like months! Apologies if my writing skills are absolutely atrocious, I’ve gotten a little rusty with lack of practise!
As you probably know from all the excuses in my recent posts, the frequency of my blogging has been abysmal. BUT I have another excuse in store for you (hooray!) and that is that I’m moving house!!
As you may or may not know, I’ve been house hunting for a little while now due to my landlord wanting to move back into the flat that I currently abode in.  It seemed like there was no hope in hell of us fining a place, with most flats being to our distaste, too far away from a Metro station, or even worse, we’d love them only to be told they won’t accept Bunny.

Anyway to cut a long story short, after what seemed like weeks of refreshing Zoopla we finally found a perfect place, a few minutes walk from both a metro station and a supermarket, that allows bunnies!

But now I have to begin the long, tedious process of packing and actually moving. You’d have thought with this being my THIRD  flat move in the space of a YEAR I’d be a packing pro, but alas I suck at it. It’s partly due to the fact that I’m an actual hoarder, and have to sift through bits of fluff and food packaging I couldn’t bare to part with (not even joking.)

SO anyway that’s this weeks excuse, but I pinky promise that once I’ve settled into my new house I will get back into the swing of things and have already claimed one of the spare rooms as my blogging office (Scott’s claimed a “server room”  it’s only fair.)

Workwear Wednesdays

Oh my bajebus, I’ve just realised how long I’ve waffled on for! I should probably start talking about clothing now what with this being an outfit post an’ all.
I wore this outfit to work last week, I’m pretty lucky at work and with the “smart casual” dress code I can wear pretty much what I want, within reason. On this particular day I wore a yellow skater skirt and a fitted black top. The skirt (Similar here) set me back about £3 from an Ebay shop in china, I’m absolutely loving these stores as they are cheap as chips. The quality might not be amazing and it takes about 3 weeks for delivery but for the price I really can’t complain.
The top I’m wearing was a hand me down from Mummy and it’s just one of those tops you can dress up or down.  I think it worked?

Anyway, that’s all I have to say right now. Hopefully by next month things will be back to normal on Gingerbread Buttons and I’ll have a nice new place to show you all!
I’m also hoping to have a bit of a refurbishment on the blog as I’m pretty bored of my design. If anyone has any tips, or feedback on what I can change I’d love to hear!

Catch ya’ll on the flip flop.
