Hungry Caterpillar make up Bag

If you’ve been a reader of my blog for a while, you may recall a post in which I shared my ever growing collection of The Very Hungry Caterpillar merchandise. Today I’ve decided to show you my latest, and more grown up addition to what has become a rather long list of things.
This Very Hungry Caterpillar Pouch from Quirky Celia is quite possible my favourite thing ever. It teams my obsession  love of Eric Carle, with my everyday needs as a woman. Storing makeup.

The canvas pouch is beautifully printed and displays our little friend in his full up, chubby state. I love this because most of The Very Hungry Caterpillar merchandise only shows the caterpillar pre eating  frenzy, so it makes a nice change to see him all fattened up. It’s the little things, y’know.

I still can’t bare to remove the label from the bag. It’s the cutest label I have ever seen, I mean look at it, it’s like the little cards you get inside a library book!! I will attempt to keep this label for as long as humanly possible, it’s just so perfect.

If you flip the bag over, the back has been printed with all the fruit that the caterpillar munched through on his adventures, which is a cute little touch.
The only fault I have is that the inside hasn’t got a plastic lining so I’m constantly worried that it’ll get dirty. If I go to uni I might demote this to a pencil case, but until then it’s perfect for storing make up with very tightly closed lids.

Is there anyone else out there who loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar as much as me? There must be a fellow collector out there somewhere!
What do you think of my little bag? Too childish? Let me know in the comments
